On September 12, at 2:30 p.m., in the Emil Gabrielyan auditorium of the Medical University, students will discover the importance and methods of forming the mindset of the future, as well as the impact of artificial intelligence on the future, together with YSMU Honorary Doctor Karine Sargsyan.
Karine Sargsyan is a professional: a doctor, an expert in science management, a scientist who is changing the ideology of innovation.
Currently, she heads the scientific activities of cancer at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is a consultant to Nobel laureates, a three-time TEDx speaker, an annual speaker at the European Union, Davos Digital, the World Economic Forum, and the UN General Assembly, presenting non-standard ideas on building the future.
She founded one of the world’s largest clinical biobanks, the International Biobank of the Medical University of Graz, Austria; she was the executive director and director of education management (2007-2019) thereof; the scientific director and lecturer of the Master’s Program “Human-centered artificial intelligence and machine learning” of the Medical University of Graz, researcher, chief responsible for educational programs, biospecimen research programs.
Professor Karine Sargsyan lectures in 19 countries and provides expert support in several countries of the world. She is one of the world leaders of scientific futurology, and the book “Future Intelligence: The World in 2050” published in 2023 which became a bestseller in a short time.
